A2O LITE NEON Dance AI: Do the Duo Intro With a Friend or Your Pet

Where did the A2O LITE NEON dance come from?

The routine is the opening duo of a K-pop choreography that came out on 13 October 2026, and it turned into a challenge almost overnight. By the next day dancers were posting their own covers in pairs: best friends, roommates, couples, all starting side by side and splitting apart for the big finish. Plenty of people type it A20 LITE, with a zero, but it is the same dance.

The same week the first AI versions of the A2O LITE NEON dance showed up, with two cats standing on their hind legs and hitting every step. That is when it stopped being only for people who can actually dance, and that is what our template is built for: you and a friend, or you and your pet.

The routine, second by second

Our A2O LITE NEON Dance template gives the routine its own stage: an empty underground garage at night, lit with pink and cyan neon tubes, filmed from a camera sitting on the floor and looking up. One continuous shot, fifteen seconds, vertical.

It goes like this. The two of you start side by side, photo 1 a step in front, swaying and opening your arms. Arms go up on a diagonal, then a low lean, and photo 1 spins into a high kick while photo 2 keeps dancing. You split apart with wide lunges, freeze in the high-and-low pose, and land the ending together in a wide squat, hands on your knees.

Which photos work best

The template needs two photos, one dancer each. Photo 1 dances on the left, photo 2 on the right:

A sharp face in good light. Each dancer wears the face from its photo, so a blurry photo gives you a blurry dancer.
The whole body, if you can. The camera sits on the floor, so legs and shoes are in shot the whole time. A head-to-toe photo helps a lot.
One subject per photo. Two people in one picture and the template cannot tell who should dance.
Your outfit is the costume. People keep the clothes from their photo. Wide trousers and sneakers look great from that low angle.

Pets keep their own face, fur colour and markings, stand up on their hind legs and dance with their own paws. People keep their face, hair and clothes. The background of your photo never comes along: it is always the same neon garage, so every version reads as part of the same trend.

What surprised us while building the template

Pets dance at full size. Next to a person, your cat does not stay cat-sized: it stands as tall as you do and matches you step for step. A ragdoll the size of a grown-up doing a spin kick is the funniest thing in this template, so we kept it.

Each photo gets its own part. The two dancers do not mirror each other. Photo 1 has the spin kick and drops down to the floor in the high-and-low pose; photo 2 is the one up on a single leg with a hand raised. Decide who gets which part before you upload.
