What Seedance V1.0 Pro Fast is good at — and what it's not

Seedance V1.0 Pro Fast is the faster, cheaper variant of the V1.0 Pro tier — about 5 credits per second, roughly half the Pro rate, for the same Seedance V1 motion quality and the same up-to-1080p output. Its reason to exist is economics: when you want Seedance's believable movement but need to run many takes, block a concept, or produce volume, Pro Fast gets you there for less.

It keeps the tier's controls — output up to 1080p, clips from 2 to 12 seconds, and the fixed-camera option for static framing — across six aspect ratios from 21:9 to 9:16. The trade is some speed-for-fidelity headroom versus the standard Pro tier.

Where it sits: for the established quality of the standard tier, use Seedance V1.0 Pro; for top-tier motion and native audio, step up to Seedance V2.0; for native audio at the V1 tier, V1.5 Pro. For the absolute cheapest single shots, Pika V2.2. Pro Fast's sweet spot is cheap, fast Seedance V1 generation.

A reasonable mental model: default to Seedance V1.0 Pro Fast for iteration and drafts at the Seedance quality bar, and step up when a shot becomes the final.
