Where the Pro tiers generate from text alone, Lite is built to keep what you provide on screen, which is the point when subject identity matters more than inventing a new scene.

Output runs up to 720p (480p or 720p), clips from 2 to 12 seconds, with the fixed-camera option for static framing. Across six aspect ratios from 21:9 to 9:16, it covers social and draft work at a Lite-tier cost.

Where it sits: for 1080p text-to-video, step up to Seedance V1.0 Pro; for top-tier motion and native audio, Seedance V2.0. For reference-anchored generation in other lines, Kling O1 and Vidu Q3 are alternatives. Seedance V1.0 Lite's sweet spot is affordable, reference-anchored video up to 720p.
